Jen and Ryan’s destination wedding at Dreams Las Mareas Resort in Costa Rica was an amazing experience. It was the kind of wedding that I enjoy the most: a wonderful and relaxed couple and fun and friendly family and guests. I also have a soft side for weddings on the beach and this was the perfect one. A beautiful sunset was included in the package, which is my favorite time for wedding photography. Staying at the resort with my favorite assistant (my daughter) was great too!!!
Everything went so smooth from our first e-mail conversations wiith Jen and Ryan. Since they live in New York we only communicated through e-mail. Jen told me that they love the outdoors and outdoor sports, and so do I, so even our interests were in sync. After arriving at the resort the day before, I walked down to the beach, and that was exactly when they were having their rehearsal..so I met them for the first time right after the rehearsal. The morning of the wedding I decided to go back to the beach, and it happened that they had just rented waverunners so I took some unplanned photos. Just perfect timing.
They had their beach wedding ceremony under a canopy of tropical trees at sunset, and held the party at the Conference Center. Jen and Ryan, I wish you all the happiness in the world.
